If access to the home drive is no longer needed, you can disconnect it with the command “sudo umount /home/ localuser/nashome”. After entering the «sudo» password and the domainuser password, the NAS drive i s connected to the directory «/home/localuser/ nashome» and you can work with this di rectory like a local one.Localgroup = Primary group from localuser (“gid” from command «id») Localuser = Local username on your Linux machine (“uid” from command «id») Sudo mount -t cifs -o username= d omainuser,domain=D,vers=2.0,uid= localuser,gid= localgroup ///id_service_sth_ d/ d omainuser /home/ localuser/nashome The command "mount" must be executed together with "s udo" or directly as user "root".Now you can connect the NAS drive with the «mount» command.This is a directory where the NAS drive should be connected to. Some commands require that you have “sudo” permissions or that you know the root password.The software package “cifs- utils” must be installed.
